Hi there and a huge vote of thanks to you for looking in on my Blog.
The real content will start tomorrow (Monday 07 Oct) and this post is just by way of introducing myself and the Blog.
A Welshman, a married gay man I served a full career in the British Army before retiring and moving to live in London for 6 years. Thereafter, my husband and I moved to his home area of NE Brazil and we now live in the state capital of Sergipe state, Aracaju. In amongst all that, my work has seen my flying in and out of the USA and Canada for most of the last dozen years.
Starting tomorrow, I shall put out a daily Blog post which will highlight and discuss items of news about Brazil that have caught my interest. I shall also seek to explore the sights, sounds, tastes and feel of this fascinating country as I examine its people and culture. The culture change from London to NE Brazil has been quite significant and I hope I will be able to chat with you about the life experience of living here, in this exciting, fun loving, proud but also troubled South American giant of a country.
